Photo Hike (Group)

On this hike-and-shoot excursion, we’ll explore Echo-T, Barker Dam, and the South Wonderland of Rocks, an iconic area with some of the largest rock formations in Joshua Tree National Park. This is a great place to refine your photographic skills in terms of technique and composition or to work on a new skill you would like to develop.

I’ll provide one-on-one coaching while taking in some of the park’s most stunning natural landscapes and visually interesting cultural sites (with architectural ruins), such as the Wall Street Mill and Wonderland Ranch. The hike will be relaxed and slow-paced, so you can work on specific techniques (using your own camera equipment) while receiving guidance from an experienced landscape photographer.

This photo hike is open to any and all levels of photographer - whether you shoot with your phone, a film camera, a DSLR, or a mirrorless camera.

The duration of a typical workshop will be approximately 3-4 hours and will include a break for a snack/drink.
